Subject: Outcome of Video Conference held with HMoT on 7/4/2020 - Request to Furnish ESI beneficiary information of your company / firm / HUF

Dear Member,

Pursuant to a Video Conference held with Secretary (Textiles) Govt of India on 7th April, 2020, where we had presented a Memorandum on Bail Out package for the members of the Silk council. MoT has confirmed that all the points received from Silk Council have been flagged & under compilation for onward transmission to the concerned Ministries for examination and consideration. One of the points was to provide immediate funds for salaries and wages of the workers / labour-force employed by our member exporters / merchandisers.

In this regard, we have just received a time bound message from Ministry of Textiles seeking inputs from our Members on the Number of Beneficiaries of Employees' State Insurance (ESI) / PF, currently employed by / in your Company.

In view of the importance of the issue, it is therefore, requested that the information in the format be provided to this Council by return mail at isepcho@gmail.com; by 8th April, 2020 till 3.30 pm.

Your instant reply on the issue shall be highly appreciated.
